Dr. Cavanagh was awarded funding from the College of Social Science to examine the impact of the COVID19 global pandemic on the experiences of the parents of justice-involved youth. These families tend to experience many health and financial disadvantages that may be exacerbated by the pandemic. Doctoral students Amanda Osuna and Alyssa Fredericks, along with post-bacc fellowship student Marina Heinke are involved in the project.
