Congratulations are in order for undergraduate research assistant Zarria Bronner, whose independent research project, "The Association Between Mental Health Needs, Detention, and Recidivism Among Justice Involved Youth," was awarded an Equity Scholars Initiative award from the MSU College of Social Science. Zarria's research will answer the questions, "are disparate mental health outcomes between white, Black, and NBYOC youth associated with recidivism? Does time spent in detention moderate this associated?"

We look forward to seeing her results!
