CONGRATULATIONS, MK!

Doctoral student MK Kitzmiller successfully defended her master’s thesis! MK’s study examined the moderating role of parental incarceration on the relation between neighborhood disorder and adolescents’ mental health. Her results? The story depends on the youth's racial/ethnic identity, pointing to the importance of using a strength-based approach with youth from different neighborhoods.
