Congratulations, Arden and Ana!

Congratulations are in order for two undergraduate research assistants whose independent research projects were awarded a Provost's Undergraduate Research Initiative award from the MSU College of Social Science. This award will provide funding for their work.

Arden Henderson is our first awardee! Their research is entitled, "Recovering from Tragedy: An Investigation of Trends in Local Juvenile Gun Violence Before and in the Wake of the Mass Shooting at Michigan State University"

Riley Starr is our other awardee! Her research will answer the question, "are there racial disparities in charge severity among juvenile sexual offenders?"
